Note su un’iscrizione fenicia da Kharayeb.
Keywords:
Kharayeb, Phoenician Epigraphy, Votive StatuaryAbstract
A fragment from an inscribed statue found by M. Chéhab in the sanctuary of Kharayeb is again examined. Some parallels for the object and for the inscription formulary lead to conclude that it was a gift offered to a male deity by more than one dedicator. The fragment is dated to the 3rd century BC or slightly earlier on the basis of its letters shape.
